After sending the logos to their clients, and receiving feedback and improving the designs, students imported the images into google draw to begin creating it digitally.
Year 3 design students were given the challenge of choosing a challenge: Students began working, based off of their research to create a container that they tested before their peers tested their designs.
Year 2 design students have begun to create logo's for their clients (teachers who volunteered). The students created and sent out interest inventory surveys for their clients, and then began drawing four different logos for their clients based on the survey answers.
Year 1 students finished drawing their personal logos, uploaded the sketches to google draw, and recreated them digitally.
Year 3 design students began a new unit focused on packaging designs. They began by researching their favorite take out food and the containers they come in. Then they began assembling 2-D containers that were to stay closed free of adhesives or tape.
Students did a final test of their claw designs. Many claws were successful, and some needed more improvements.
Year 1 students have been learning about the process of design logo, and what makes an effective logo. Students began recreating their favorite brands' logo, as well as brainstorming what they want their personal logo to represent about themselves.
Year 2 design students are beginning a new unit, where they are learning about effective branding and logos. They have began making their business cards (in Scratch), in preparation for their clients' (Moos teachers) reference. They will be given the task of creating logos for each teacher (their client).
