Students placed brown paper on top of their oil spill when their time ended to clean up the oil. After letting the brown paper dry over night (to let the water evaporate) the students measured how much oil was still left. Students decided on using a point system with different circle sizes to assess how much oil they were not able to clean up. Afterwards, they reflected on their oil spill experiment and the role they played during their groups' solution to clean up the oil.
